Enterprise Networking
TFI excels at customizing enterprise network studies to address the strategic communication network concerns of executives and boards for large enterprises. Given the state of flux in the industry, enterprise networking plans must take into consideration current, transitional and next generation advances. Focus on Careabouts: We focus on client needs, based on stakeholder careabouts. Early in the project we talk with the people who have a stake in the enterprise network and find out what they care about. This includes talking to people outside the IT and telecommunications departments, including representatives of user interests, board members, and, if appropriate, customers, suppliers, and partners.
Focus on the Future: As our name implies, we are future focused. We continuously collect, develop, and maintain technology assessments and forecasts for key technologies and applications. Every year we provide dozens of major market forecasts/assessments to enterprise network planners, government agencies, carriers, equipment vendors, semiconductor manufacturers, and software firms. For example, since 1985 TFI has provided custom studies for the Telecommunications Technology Forecasting Group, comprised of the major ILECs.
Strategic: We are independent strategic consultants with a very broad and deep understanding of the big picture in technology, telecommunications, and IT. We do not pretend to be implementers and we have no preset solution to sell.
