TFI Asset Valuation Conference Speaker: Mark Lowenstein, Mgr. Dir., Mobile Ecosystem

Ken Love is an Assistant Attorney General who is employed by the Tax Section of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.  Mr. Love has acquired a wide variety of civil litigation experience in Arizona since his admission to the Arizona Bar in 1986, following his graduation from the University of Arizona College of Law.

Since leaving private practice 11 years ago, Mr. Love’s practice has been almost singularly devoted to representing the Arizona Department of Revenue and the 15 counties throughout the State in defense of the Department’s valuations of centrally-valued taxpayers’ property in Arizona.  He has appeared in administrative appeals involving water companies, non-profit electric cooperatives, airlines, electric and gas transmission and distribution companies, electric generation facilities, natural gas pipelines, and telecommunications companies.  He has tried CVP matters before the Arizona Tax Court and has also  regularly briefed cases and appeared before the Arizona Court of Appeals to argue matters involving how to construe Arizona’s property tax statutes.

Any commentary shared by Mr. Love is his personal opinion and should not be construed as the official position of the Arizona Department of Revenue or the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
