Jason is Principal, Property Tax – Complex Properties with Ryan. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Jason brings 30 years of property tax experience in a variety of roles and responsibilities. His expertise spans real and personal property with a focus on complex properties. He has represented, overseen, and developed strategies for clients across the country.

Jason has worked with all phases of both real and personal property taxation, along with a wide variety of industries including but not limited to: telecommunications, software development, broadcasting, pharmaceutical, hospitality, retail, cement manufacturing and a host of other commercial real estate and manufacturing operations.

Prior to joining Ryan, Jason was the Vice President of the Complex Tax and Advisory Services Practice at Altus, the Senior Vice President (East Operations) for Paradigm Tax Group, National Property Tax- complex property leader for EY, and the Florida property tax practice leader for Deloitte Tax LLP.  In addition, Jason also has experience on the government side having served as a Deputy Appraiser for the Broward County, Florida Property Appraisers Office. 

A Florida native, Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida State University, the CMI designation and is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker.
