Jason Butterworth

Jason Butterworth works within Ernst and Young LLP’s National Property Tax Practice and is based in Boca Raton, Florida. His responsibilities include providing property tax management, appeal, compliance and support services for clients located in Florida and throughout the United States.

With over 18 years of property tax specific experience, Jason has worked with all phases of both real and personal property taxation, along with a wide variety of industries including but not limited to: telecommunications, software development, broadcasting, pharmaceutical, hospitality, retail, cement manufacturing and a host of other commercial real estate and manufacturing operations.

Prior to joining Ernst and Young, Jason was a Director and the Florida Practice Leader for Deloitte Tax LLP’s National Property Tax Service line and then spent five years as a Director specializing in Complex Properties for another large property tax consulting practice. Early in his career, he was a Deputy Appraiser for the Broward County Property Appraisers Office in Florida.

A Florida native, Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida State University, the CMI designation and is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker.
