Vincent Russo

Vincent Russo is an economist with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).  He has been in the Producer Price Program since 1997 and currently serves as the Chief of the Section of Durable Goods.  He oversees the development of the Producer Price Indexes for manufacturing industries, including telecommunications equipment.  Vincent co-chairs the federal Economic Classification Policy Committee (ECPC), where he collaborates with partners from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to maintain the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) and the associated North American Product Classification System (NAPCS).  He also advises the United Nations as a member of its Committee of Experts on International Statistical Classifications.

Vincent lives with his wife and three high-school children in Rockville, MD where he is president of his neighborhood civic association.
