Carrie Vanston has helped increase TFI’s profile as a highly qualified forecasting and trend analysis leader in the high-technology and telecom industries over the last several years. Most recently she has partnered with Dr. John Vanston on the MiniTrends concept which is designed to increase creativity, innovation, and success.  She is Conference Director of TFI's annual MiniTrends Conference and co-author of MINITRENDS: How Entrepreneurs & Innovators Discover & Profit From Business & Technology Trends.

Carrie enjoys speaking about how MiniTrends can help you pursue your passions and make a difference in the world. Her presentations have included Morgan Stanley’s Investing with Impact Conference, WorldFutures 2013 Master Course, RISE Conference, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development – A Regional Project for Latin America, Women in Technology – a Multi-Regional Project and The University of Texas’ SAGE Program.

During Ms. Vanston’s time at TFI, business and industry publications have regularly cited the views of TFI’s staff members and the results of TFI’s marketing research reports. Prior to her present position, Ms. Vanston served as TFI's Media and Marketing Director. She has also worked in promoting and marketing clients in the entertainment industry. Ms. Vanston has a bachelor degree in geography from the University of Texas at Austin.
