Mr. Avram Miller is vice president of Intel Corporation and director of corporate business development. His primary interests lie in the opportunities created by the convergence of different industries and technologies, in particular, communications, computing, and content. Today, his focus is on turning the personal computer into a medium for entertainment, education, and commerce. Mr. Miller has played a significant role in the development of the company’s networking and communications businesses. Recently, he has been the primary architect of Intel’s initiative to utilize the cable television infrastructure to provide high-bandwidth communications for home PCs. He is a principal in the development of Intel’s overall strategic plan.
